On 9 December 2022, the Geneva Cities Hub will hold its Annual strategic retreat. This year, the retreat will explore what further efforts are necessary to position International Geneva as the main entry point for cities and other local and regional governments (LRGs) in view of an effective and inclusive multilateralism. For that purpose, the GCH and invited partners will assess GCH’s ongoing work, namely in the fields of sustainable development, health, human rights and smart cities. Potential new avenues to explore might also be part of the discussion. The GCH retreat shall result in recommendations to start developing a more institutionalized city needs-driven framework representing LRGs in International Geneva. Input from the participants, including members of the board and GCH close partners, will allow a deep and critical discussion.
