Cities leading the transformation: SDGs in action and the new multilateralism

GCH Co-Director Anh Thu Duong will participate in the upcoming Regional Forum on Sustainable Development. She will share our perspective on how cities can lead the implementation of the SDGs through the new multilateralism. 

The challenges and crises of our time are calling for a much more sustainable path of development for our planet, our economies and societies. The UNECE Regional Forum on Sustainable Development brings together all actors to promote action, solutions and peer learning to achieve the sustainability transformation in the UNECE region. It constitutes a key platform at the regional level for policy debate, exchange of good practices and peer learning on SDG implementation (each region organizes its own regional forum). The theme for this year’s Forum is: “Ensuring the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the ECE Region in times of multiple crises“

The Geneva Cities Hub has been invited to participate in one of the Peer Learning Round Tables focused on SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) entitled: “Cities leading the transformation: SDGs in action and the new multilateralism”
